Changes and Questions
This policy governs all products developed by Nuvenu, LLC.
It pertains to how we manage information related to various groups, encompassing site visitors, potential customers, as well as customers and authorized users in connection with their service acquisition and relationship management with Nuvenu. In this policy, we collectively refer to these groups as "you."

What we Collect and why
At Nuvenu, our guiding principle is to collect only the information that is essential. Here's a breakdown of what this means:
Identity and access
When you register for a Nuvenu product, we request basic identification details such as your name, email address, and possibly your company name. This information allows you to personalize your new account, and it enables us to send you important product updates and other essential notifications. Importantly, we never sell your personal information to third parties, and we won't use your name or company in marketing communications without your explicit consent.
Billing information
If you subscribe to a paid Nuvenu product, we will ask you to provide payment information and your billing address. Your credit card information is securely transmitted directly to our payment processor. We retain a record of the payment transaction, including the last four digits of the credit card number, for purposes of maintaining your account history, generating invoices, and offering billing support. We also store your billing address to facilitate service charges, calculate applicable sales taxes, send you invoices, and detect potentially fraudulent credit card transactions. On occasion, we may use aggregated billing data to inform our marketing efforts.
Product interactions
We maintain the content you upload, receive, or retain in your Nuvenu product accounts on our servers. This ensures that you can use our products as intended. We retain this content for as long as your account remains active. In the event you delete your account, we will delete the associated content within 60 days.
General Geolocation data
For most of our products, we log the complete IP address used during product registration and retain this information to help prevent future instances of spam signups. We also log account access by full IP address for security and fraud prevention purposes, retaining this login data for as long as your product account remains active.
Website interactions
We gather information related to your online activity for analytical and statistical purposes, including conversion rate testing and experimentation with new product designs. This information encompasses details such as your browser and operating system versions, IP address, the web pages you visit, their load times, and the referring websites. If you have an account and are signed in, these web analytics data are linked to your IP address and user account until your account becomes inactive. Further information about the web analytics tools we employ can be found in the Advertising and Cookies section.

Voluntary Correspondence
When you reach out to Nuvenu via email for inquiries or assistance, we retain that correspondence, including your email address. This allows us to reference past interactions in case you contact us again in the future. We store any additional information you voluntarily provide only with your explicit consent.
Mobile App Permissions
For our desktop and mobile apps, we may request certain permissions, such as accessing contacts, calendars, cameras, and other privacy-sensitive features of your device. Granting consent is always optional, and our app will function without it, although some features may be limited. There are a few exceptions, such as the IOS app requesting permission to use push notifications upon initial sign-in, while the Android app does not require permission for push notifications.
Access and Disclosure of Your Information
We access or disclose your information under specific circumstances, as outlined below:
To Provide Requested Products or Services
We access your information to deliver the products or services you have requested from us.
Involvement of Third-Party Subprocessors
In certain instances, we engage third-party subprocessors to assist in running our application and providing services to you. Examples include email services like Gmail and email blasts.
Limited Human Access
Nuvenu personnel do not typically access your content unless expressly permitted for specific reasons. These instances are rare and occur, for instance, when resolving errors that require manual intervention. Our focus in such cases is to identify permanent solutions to prevent recurrences.
Exclusion from Ads
We may share a one-way hash of your email address with advertising companies, where legally permissible, to exclude you from viewing our ads. This is applicable if you have a Nuvenu account.
Assistance with Support or Software Bugs
If you encounter issues or need assistance with troubleshooting a software bug, we will request your permission before accessing your content.
Investigation and Preventive Measures
Accessing a user's account during an abuse investigation is a last resort, undertaken to safeguard our users and those reporting issues. We strive to maintain a balance between user privacy and safety throughout this process. If we identify misuse of our products, we will take necessary action, including notifying relevant authorities as warranted.
Aggregated and De-identified Data
We may aggregate or de-identify collected information for various purposes, including marketing and analytics.
Compliance with Applicable Law
Nuvenu is a U.S.-based company, with all data infrastructure located within the U.S. We adhere to a policy of not disclosing user data to government requests unless compelled by legal process or in exceptional emergency situations. This applies to both U.S. and foreign government authorities. We prioritize user notification before disclosing data, except where legally restricted or in certain emergencies.
Preservation Requests
Our policy is to comply with data preservation requests only when mandated by the U.S. Federal Stored Communications Act or properly served U.S. subpoenas for civil matters. We do not disclose preserved data unless required by law or compelled by an unappealed court order. Additionally, unless we receive a valid warrant, court order, or subpoena before the preservation period expires, we will delete any preserved user data at the end of this period.
Audits by Tax Authorities
In the event of an audit by a tax authority, we may be obliged to disclose billing-related information. In such cases, we will disclose only the minimum necessary information, such as billing addresses and tax exemption details.
Mergers or Acquisitions
If Nuvenu undergoes acquisition or merges with another company, we will notify you well in advance of any transfer of your personal information or its subjection to a different privacy policy.
